Though most discussions that revolve around web 3.0, the 3rd generation of internet suggest web 3.0 and web3 vs web3.0 are identical however, they are in fact two different things. While web3 is an uncentralized, blockchain-based variant of the web 3.0 is a blockchain-based version of the web. 3.0 emphasizes Tim Berners-Lee's idea of a semantic or linked web.
